I had a few close friends but no I wasn't popular because I never believed violence solved anything unless really necessary and living in Rhodesia there was real racial problems . My best friend at boarding school was one of the few Indians from Kenya so it didn't go down well with others . Bullying was rife which I tried to do something about at every opportunity which also didn't go down well and a lot of the masters were bast-rds who seemed to enjoy stripping and whipping boys at every opportunity . I was also not great at sport so not one of the popular sect . I was glad when I left school at 18 and swore my kids would never go to boarding school and never suffer the experience I had in my school years .

I was just one of the average - I was not the most popular but I didn't got bullied either.
Just once (I was 16 or 17 that time) after gym class one of the girls made fun of my "mosquito bites" and the "jungle" between my legs. But that's all.

I wasn't popular and I wasn't popular. I could kind of float freely and get along with most of the "groups," but I wasn't really a vital member of any group.

I was fairly popular. Playing softball,volleyball and cheer leading and also had excellent grades as well has having nice things. I mostly kept to my close circle of friends,dint like being around assholes or jerks or people who talk shit about everyone.

In school, as in life, I was not unpopular. I just didn't 'fit in'. I had a couple of close friends who are still friendly now, so that's good.

A bit of a loner and the victim of several bullies until Sixth Form (I was 16 for you non-UK people) but, thankfully, nothing like being beaten up or anything like that. Most of the bullying was mental and subtly physical.

I loved school, hated the society created within it. A position that seems rather ubiquitous in threads such as these.

No one dared to mess with me, I wasn’t friends with everyone, but everyone was scared of me, so I never got bullied, I think it was quite nice, plus I always got what I wanted, and my best friend always knew how to react to me based on my walk, and my other friends knew when to shut up and not say anything and when to speak.
