Arcade Fire cannot sing! They use auto tune. Did you hear them at the brits? They could not sing at all. Not one note. And the lead singer has a horrible haircut.

Mumford and Sons are AMAZING. But not my favourite band.
Folk is coming into the modern world. Yippee! I like folk music.

I think I would know when someone can sing. I can play grade 8 piano and flute. My dad is a professional singer. We both heard them sing. And.....they can't.

Your argument is irrelevant. Being good at playing instruments doesn't make you an apt judge of a person's singing ability. Also, your dad is a professional singer? So is Rebecca Black. Being a singer also doesn't mean you can judge singing ability.
