DARE! A fictional Truth or Dare mystery (PART 1)

This is my first Truth or Dare story, so go easy.

PART I

Amy Laura Jenks birthday was always a treat. Every August 10th she would host a really fun sleepover party. This year it was her 16th birthday. Her friends, Tom, John, Kate, Cady, Bob, Beth, and Calder, would all be coming. The boys and Kate would be leaving around midnight, but Beth, Cady, and Kate were sleeping over the entire night.

Amy wanted this year to be an awesome sleepover, unlike last year’s fiasco (think petting zoos).

They arrived at six, but at 9:30 no one was doing anything. In fact, Beth and Cady were starting to fall asleep. Now, it is a scientific fact that when someone falls asleep at a sleepover, nothing fun can happen after that. Amy saved the day. She said “Lets play Truth or Dare!” Everyone agreed.

They sat down on the ground in Amy’s room.

Amy asked first, “Truth or Dare, Tom.” Tom answered, “Truth.” Amy asked, “When did you first see a PG-13 movie?” Tom replied, “I don’t know. When I was like 9, I guess.” John said, “Same as me.” Tom high-fived John.

Tom said, “O.K. moving on. John, Truth or Dare?” John felt adventurous, and said, “Dare.” Tom said, “Good Choice. I dare you to go outside with everyone, and scream at the top of your lungs, ‘I’m stupid!!!’” Tom said “O.K.”

So they all filed outside. Tom, Beth, Calder, and Cady, and of course, John, went out onto the muddy front lawn, while the others stayed on the porch. John screamed, “I’m stupid!!!!!”

They went back inside. Now John asked, “Truth or dare, Kate?” Kate said “Dare.” Little did she know that this would come back very soon to haunt her. John said, “Excellent. I dare you, Kate, to go into the bathroom next to Amy’s room, the kitchen, and the Den, and to strip, and stay that way for 2 minutes” She agreed.

Everyone decided to give her some privacy. She went in, did the dare, but after 2 minutes she didn’t come out. After another minute or so, everyone congregated around the bathroom. John finally said, “You know you can come out now!”

She said not until you give me back my clothes!!!
Who dunnit? Who stole Kate's clothes. Findout next time on 'DARE!'
