Public Transit Forced Predicament

Dare (Bus)
Go to a bus station. Once you arrive, tack a bus with any random route, preferably not one that takes you out of the city. Go to the back section and duct tape the key to your lockable piece of gear to the bottom of a seat. Go back home and wait a day. Buses are assigned randomly to a driver and route daily. This means that the route that the bus with the key will not be the same.

After you wait a day, lock yourself into the chosen gear that the key belong to. This could be a padlock locked to your belt on your pants after you need to pee; a costume locked on to yourself, a gimp suit with cuffs/leg spreaders or simply a chastity device that is hidden. Just make your public display feel humiliating with what you lock yourself into. Prepare yourself after you click because you might be in the gear for a while. Start with your local bus stop going to the bus station. There is a chance that you will be very lucky and have the bus with the key inside causing you to stop the dare immediately. If not, you are going to get lots of stairs on your trip to the bus station but it will get worse. Once you get to the bus station you will have to run into every bus with people inside staring at you and see if the key is there. If someone is sitting in the seat that you taped the key underneath, you'll have to think of an excuse fast or wait until they get off. Then if none of the buses that you check have the key, you'll have to wait at the station in whatever you're locked up in for other buses to arrive to check them which could be a lot of exposure. Once you find the bus, unlock yourself and you are done with the dare (you'll still have to ride back in the humiliating gear if you hadn't brought a change of clothes). There is a chance that the bus with the key will be out of order or the bus driver may have found the key. This predicament is great as well because you'll have to confront what you had done to yourself to lost and found or pay a visit to the friendly people at the bus garage.

Subway
If you live by a subway, it could be a different experience altogether. Once you go inside to check the subway, you'll be forced to stay on it for at least one route. You will have to get out, wait uncomfortably until the next bus comes and repeat the process over and over until you get the key. This is a little bit more safe because subways don't typically change. If you want to make a day of it, you can combine the two ie. Key to a humiliating locked costume on the bus, key to hand cuffs on the subway.

Back up
Obviously there is a high risk of losing the key so you'll need a back up plan. If you have the time, the best suggestion is to leave the key at a friends house in a different city. Make sure the friend doesn't give you the key until you checked every single buses and confronted security. Also, if you can, leave your car keys with them so you can't drive anywhere forcing you to take public transit there and everywhere.
