teamviewer taking over pc

if i use teamviewer to take control on another computer can he tell if i'm controling his computer if in advanced i installd it on his computer and putted a password so i could connect every time his computer is on but he dont know the pass?

is there any other way i can control or just view someone screen but without them knowing?

Yes there will be a notification pop up on their screen saying that you connected. and a popup saying that the computer was accessed the ' thanks for playing along, dont use this terminal for business' flash screen.
