Weird question but why do I need a VPN to access the site?

As the title says,

No, I've never been banned. (other than a requested ban, which wasn't an IP ban)

I am from the MENA region, which could explain why; the site might be blocked by my ISP, but what can I do about that?
Calling my ISP does not seem like a good idea, nor is switching possible.

Technical getDare-ers, I'd like to humbly request your help.

Most likely your ISP has an adult content filter... a VPN will bypass that

If that was the case, I wouldn't be able to access any NSFW/Pornographic sites, which I can.

I have called them to ask if there were any restricted websites or a filter set on my line, and they said there isn't one.

It could be there is an issue with resolving the sites address with your usual dns server, most vpns have their own dns

Without doing diagnostics on your device and internet connection... it could be a lot of things
