I just read all FAQs on international website for WNBR and local London WNBR. I will be joining London WNBR, which is scheduled to happen on 11th June this year.

I read there are no laws against nudity in the UK, so was wandering if I can join the ride already naked. I would like to leave all my clothes at home, all of it, leave home naked, ride the tube and join the ride already naked, and as I will be having no stich with me and will be totally bare, I will be leaving later for home naked.

Anyone any advice or experience? I would love to hear from you.

There are laws about nudity in the UK…it’s whether you’re doing it to cause “harassment, alarm or upset”. Now, you can argue you’re not, but the protective mother with two small children you’ve just surprised on a naked walk in the woods, may take a different view.

The WNBR website actually says: -

There is no law against nudity in Britain, but please don’t exercise your right to nudity in London before the ride or spend an unnecessarily long time dressing at the end as it will impact on our ability to make arrangements with police and get cooperation from the authorities in future years.

So, wonderful as your journey sounds…no.
