Lazy members.

Why are people here on getdare so lazy and don't participate in anything.

People make an effort to write stories and some of them are quite good but there are plenty of members that read them and cant even be bothered to even comment on the story or give advice to the author let alone use the star system and vote on the story.

Most posts by females will get plenty of interest and a lot of replies but most posts from a male wont get any.

This site can be very popular and a lot better if more members participated in things and there would be more and better content.

I've seen plenty of people put effort and thought into stories and not get much or anything in the way of feedback compared to the number of people who read them. I know writers love constructive criticism but the most common criticism I see is people complaining that stories aren't finished or updated regularly enough.
The star system can be abused, but if most people are respectful and give positive star reviews and post honest criticisms or DM improvement ideas, I'm sure the writers would appreciate it.

So, people who can't be bothered (ie: too lazy) to give a positive rating, or click thanks, let alone make a comment, are justified, because they were called out for not supporting the writer's effort? Makes total sense.

Your missing the point, 1 insulting members by calling them lazy is not really get them ribbited to click thanks, or give positive ratings, and 2 its up to members weather they want to do that or not, thats my 2 cents =p
