Thank you, here's my report:

I didn't know if I should start with hot or cold first so I left it to the gods to decide... a coin flip.
I started with hot water, having to move around under the shower so the water wouldn't hit the same spots all the time. Moreover, the cold one wasn't any better except that it felt relieving for a moment after the hot one, but other than that it was uncomfortable... very uncomfortable that I couldn't get hard while stroking (was a bit embarrassing)
Shampooing was the by far the best part of the shower

I think I did around 15 rounds of switching the heat until I decided it was enough.
