What would you do? (Blackmailed)

I have read a lot of stories on this site and let me say that the majority of them are fueled by blackmail and lost bets. So I ask this to all getdare members,

If you were being blackmailed with nude or embarasing pics being posted online, or in school, or to relatives. What would you do???

Submit to the will of the blackmailer ( Yes, he or she would take full advantage of the blackmail making you do sexually driven atvities and/or do publicly humiliating actions)... OR

Fight and say no, and take the punishment (Yes, the photos would be put online, in school, and given to relatives)...

I would definetly take the punishment, because if they are posted online they could only be done on porn sites. Which would arrest the person for uploading kiddie porn. Also online the photos have litttle to no chance of being seen by someone I care about. If they are posted in school the person would almost certainly get caught and sued by me and the school. If they are given to my relatives then I would simply be in trouble with them for a while and would tell the police about it. In any case the person would be caught and in trouble with police.

But I've highlighted some problems.

It's all well and good saying they'd get in trouble but, if you're underage and the photos are of you naked/performing sexual acts, then surely you're in just as much trouble for being stupid? The only way for people to get the blackmail material in the first place is if you're stupid or breaking the law.

Plus, if they know you and more about you (as you mentioned blackmailing it to a school etc.), then it wouldn't just be porn sites. There's nothing to stop the blackmailer emailing photos to friends, relatives, whoever. Yeah it's child porn but surely the victim would be just as much in the wrong.

My answer is gunna be a bit of a cop-out: I'd never get into this situation because I'm sensible and I always take the time to talk to people to gain their trust.

I actually was blackmail by a woman. She placed my nude picture address phone number and where I worked on a number of websites. I got them all removed but I had to write the sites and give them a copy of my ID and a statement saying I did not post the pictures to get them to remove it. I have to confess, it did get me really horny knowing the info could be found by someone I may know. I was relieved though when they were removed.

I'd refuse and let them do what want with what they had. Any thing else you do as a result of the blackmail would only give them more "ammunition".

well thats simple! im super strong and tough. took a bodybuilding class in school and im a freshman. got into a lifting contest with like 5 of the seniors who are also on the football team and lifted more than any of them could by 50 pounds. so id say i can fight. and if it was a guy id have no qualms about doing so, and would beat them to a loody pulp. anfd ten with them beaten so badly id take counter blackmail photos and tell them about it and tell them that if they post the photos of me id post the photos of them.

I don't think I'd be in this position in the first place, seeing as I don't really take nude photos - or haven't - and if I was in this situation then I beliee I'd be able to talk the person out of it. But, choosing from the options, I definitely would not want my family finding out about the pictures, so I'd have to submit. (There goes my virinity ) There you go.

I think I would submit, since I did when it happened before, wasn't as extreme as this is made out to be though, so I don't really know.

I like the idea of consensual blackmail in s/m, but in case it's not consensual, I'd immediately turn to the police. Blackmailing is illegal. In my work we often cooperate with the local police station so I know where to go.

And it's really bad that none of you guys said you'd turn to the police That's why there are so much victims of violence out there, because they are afraid to get professional help

If police was not an option, I'd do the same as dragonhunter. Well I'm not super strong and tough, but some equipment can help that :P Beat them until they forget about this whole blackmail stuff!

This would never happen to me I'm sure but I'd rather they sent the pictures out than do anything for them. They can fuck right of. Perhaps I'd call the police too, if they're going to send them out anyway I may as well get them arrested for distributing child porn.

Luckily I don't send pictures to strangers and if I ever did I wouldn't have my face in them, obviously.

You know this post might well be the funniest thing I've read all week for the following reasons:
- You're assuming that strength equals fighting ability when there are various aspects to fighting such as skill and technique
- You're assuming that having photos of a person beaten up are as bad as (for example) photos of you giving a blowjob
- You have this crazy notion that strength is currently the most important factor in a technological age

As we're in a technological age it's all good and well to be strong, however people have invented weapons which the weak can use. A gun or a taser for example would kinda stop you from beating on a much smaller person. I'm not saying it's useless but you'd probably have been a lot more correct a few hundred years ago. Plus with all of the technology out there, it wouldn't be hard for a potential blackmailer to cover their tracks sufficiently - what you gonna do then? Beat up everyone you see?

It all depends on the situation doesn't it.

What's the chances of your relatives finding people of you on the internet? but if the blackmailer had any of their emails it would be a whole other scenario.

In real life, I would go to the police no matter how embarrassing. In fiction land it's great to fantasize about being blackmailed, but in real life it would be terrifying.
