I personally wouldn't mind either. At best there's one distinction to be made.
If one of us isn't attracted to the other one, i'd go with the person that can't make any sexual activity. That way i wouldn't be missing out on anything and we'd simply be cell buddies.
Otherwise, it's the blind mute person. As we'd be living together for decades, there shouldn't really be an issue with communication. Apart from the fact that getting to know each other is gonna be a drag, it'd be more fulfilling long term.
