Tried it today but couldn't do it for very long, dropped it after a couple of hours when i stood up without squeezing my glutes

so I guess I need a punishment.

Hm, nice idea, but my phone is too big to stay in that crack. I also have serious doubts that I will break it when i sit down. Maybe it would work with a smaller phone, of the old style, not a smartphone.
