I think shogi sounds better then go. Go is only 2 letters but shogi has 5 atleast.

Go is probably the best abstract strategy game in the world.
...No, no it isn't. Go isn't a checkers game. For a start, there's no movement in Go, you're dropping stones only. A brief description, then: It's a game of territory control, and has deceptively simple rules. You play on a board consisting of 18x18 squares, taking it in turns to drop stones onto the intersections of the lines (so there are 19*19 places you can drop a stone), the aim is to surround your opponant's stones and thus take them, which scores you one point per stone, and surround as large a body of empty spaces as you can, which scores you one point per space. and yes it is! look the generic term for go is japanese checkers....atleast in america and the stones are round like checkers are!so ha! |
