Boys: Sitting to Pee

Apparently this is some great social evil, which I find curious. So the question to all males is ... do you ever? What are your thoughts on doing so?

Personally I do at times because ... I'm too sleepy/lazy to stand up

NO!!!! it SUCKS!

My toilet seat wont stay up, so i gotta pee sittin down...

its sooo annoying especially if you're in a rush all you wana do is just stand up and get it done in like 30 secs!!!

Haha, it's just fascinating because ... I don't understand why it irritates some guys so much. It's lazier, you have to sit down to shit anyway, and you don't have to aim, balance, or even really pay attention at all :P

It's unnatural and demeaning. Being able to pee standing up is one of the best things about being male.

Judging by some guys i know they don't aim, balance, or pay attention even when they are standing up. My wet socks sometime are a give away

i mostly pee sitting down.. i just find it more relaxing and neat, and it makes less noise.

=O I'm not a boy... but I know lots of boys who do now. I had no idea it was so popular. O.O I don't think it's a big deal and it leaves less mess for me to clean up.

it comes naturally , i can proberly do it all standing up with my eyes close, and the whole effort to stand up with me is i lean against the wall next to me :P x x

I generally pee standing. I've sat down to pee before, sure, but I generally associate it with periods when I've been unwell or, on one occasion, when I was out of hospital from a surgery and lacked the strength to stand over the toilet, so it doesn't have the most pleasant of connotations for me. Plus, sitting down to pee just isn't practical outside of home, as most public toilets (especially men's public toilets, are FILTHY). For the same reason I wouldn't do a crap in a public toilet unless it was a total emergency, I wouldn't sit down to pee there either.

I always do. I never stand. I never use the urinals if it isn't an absolute neccesity. I never really got the hang of it. To be honest, it's far more sanitary, easy, and arguably even relaxing to sit while relieving oneself. There seems to be no real reason why any male should be forced to uncomfortably stand when sitting is also available. I too have noted this social prejudice against males sitting to urinate. It is in no way effeminate. While we're on the topic of bathrooms, might I point out that females get a far better deal. I mean, women's bathrooms are actually nice. They seem to actually be cleaned regularly (as opposed to men's rooms, which virtually are a maintenence no-man's-land). Many of the nicer ones have a lounge in front (though this arguably is for the comfort of women who are pregnant). The same principle goes for male locker rooms. Why are women given cude yet effective means of maintaining privacy and men not? I used to belong to a swim club- the changing room was an atrocity. I had to hide behind rows where other men were not changing to simply undress and change into my bathing suit. Yet, paradoxially, the men are the ones who complain that men being naked in front of one another is "mad gay". You never hear of women saying that being in nude in front of one another is "mad lesbian".

I would also like to take this opportunity to officially renounce the usage of the word "mad" as an adjective meaning "very, extremely, notably". The word should not exist. It is never conjugated properly and irritates the hell out of me.
