Just a question about deleting

Why exactly do you not ban on request? I mean i do not have anything wrong with you not doing it, it just seems like a odd way of going about. Most sites that i have seen are willing to do that, this is got to be the first that i have seen that will not do it.

A.) Deleting certain things can break the flow of a thread
B.) If they start a thread which others have posted on, deleting it would delete all posts and lower other people's posts counts.
C.) There are often lots of requests and some are asking for MANY threads to be deleted. Would you be willing to go through a delete 100 posts?
D.) Often there is no real point to the request. They just want to leave and for some reason also wish to have never existed on this site.
E.) We have a belief in personal responsibility. In this day and age, you should always be aware of what you are posting on the internet and how it could be linked back to you. If you are going to post about taboo topics on the internet, don't post personal info that could be traced back to you. If you can't manage to do that, we aren't going to spend our lives cleaning up your messes.

If it is an absolute emergency and you NEED your email removed for some odd reason like that, users can report it and the mods will remove the email. However, that is only in special cases and assuming the user is not a total beotch. Otherwise, what you have here is what you have here. It is the internet. Be careful

What i ment is a ban request, so the techncal reasons dont exist to much, however i do get what you are saying

Ohhh. simply because it is terribly annoying. We get TONS of requests for it. Not to mention these people almost always end up coming back with another account.

If you no longer wish to be in this site, don't come on. If you don't have the will power to do that, then that isn't our problem.
