I guess I'll be the first to answer. I rarely shave - when I do, it's usually for an acting role. This obviously eans that my skin etc is less used to rigmarole of shaving. I guess I kinda have two things to ask:
Best way to do it (occasionally when using the electric razor, my skin flakes as though dry: that's probably a dehydration thing and am working on it and sometimes get irritation on my throat from the normal razor - also, how best to do around the lips with catching/nicking). I don't know if it's covered in your job, but nether-region shaving, particularly the twosome. It's been requested (and fairly so), but it never goes that well and plenty of nicking happens, with plenty of uncut/less then well cut hairs. Trying to ask delicately is probably making me unclear, but yeah...

1. Is epilation effective on private parts? I know it hurts because I've tried.. but after 1hour of trying(with pauses) I could only clear maybe 2inches of my skin. Is there any trick of doing it?
2. Method to wax down there by self? - I kind of want to do it myself than going to a saloon and get it done by random person.

When shaving 'down there' you really must trim with some scissors (short short, stop them curls) Then shave with the hair to start off then against. also try stretching the skin with one hand, as a female I know that helps me to get a clean even cut. Also before you shave, take a warm bath or shower, it opens your pores and your hair follicle widens a little, which can make it a little more easier to shave. Make sure you put a soothing lotion (non-perfumed) after wards

Sure send me a picture! I would like to see these. Quote:
Clean the area first, (using some sort of afterwax or a none-perfumed cleanser, make sure you dry before you start, and do it in small sections, start with your bikini line, and bit my bit slowly move in. put the wax with the hair growth (if warm wax or waxing strips) and remove against the hair, theres no rush so take your time. Once your finshed, apply an after wax lotion/cream, stay away from anything tight fitting for 8 hours and avoid hot baths/showers for about 24 hours. Also it takes around about 2-3 days to heal and recover, depending on your skin type.

Thanks. The epilator I use is for bikini, underarms areas.. I think I'm using the right one. And waxing seems easier than this I'm going to try it for sure. Thanks. ^^

Do you know what sort it is? 'cause you can get some that uses needles and for 1 hair at a time. I'm guessing yours is like a fast plucking machine?

I personally dont recomened hair removal cream, first of it has the same-ish effect of shaving, also It can over time, damage your skin and cause all sorts of problems, hair removal creams 'down there' are a big no no as well.

They say laser is permanent, but has tendencies to grow back, people who go and get laser done oftern come back and get electrical epilation done to remove any hairs that have grown back. Laser is safe, but can be expensive, its usually done over a course of treatments, so you might have to go in for more. Also laser can not treat blonde or white hairs, now I dont know if someone has gone and invented laser that can treat these hairs but to my knowledge its none-effective I do recommend wax, yes it can hurt but over time you get used to it, and with some people ive found that it almost doesnt hurt at all. Also when you wax your hairs start to get thin and over time stop growing (this oocours normally in patches) Its best to go to a salon to get waxed! Ive described above how you can wax your self 'down there' Are you wanting to know how to wax your legs? Its so easy! Clean the area (best use pre wax) Look at which way your hairs grow, and apply the wax with the hair growth And rub well! The rip off FAST in the oppsite dircetion Apply a soothing agent after (after wax, aloe vera is good as well)

I have oily skin (maybe combination skin as it does get red sometimes but it's really oily) - what would you recommend as a skin care regime? I've heard it's important to moisturise but I think it makes the oiliness even worse.
