Epilator for guys

Hello!

I would like an advice: I hate shaving my legs and body, but I love them smooth. I tried visiting the salon for having my whole body waxed, it was ok, not so painful (I don't have thick and dense hairs), but it's quite expensive.

So I was thinking about getting an epilator (the one that sort of looks like an electric razor). I would like here some experience of people using it (even ladies: does it work for you?) and tips for which types or models are good, whether wet or dry etc.
