My boyfriend has requested me to tie him up for his birthday, I have agreed but I have never done anything like it before and I don't want to disapoint him. In past relationships I have always been submissive so don't really know how to be dominant, any help please?

Depends on what he wants, you can tie him up very strictly, or just loosely.
