No.
Well, if they ban me, people will not find any different in this site. But if they ban Nellybell and Doctor, OMG, people will really notice it and we don't want them as banned. What a nice conversation is this.... Personally I find it interesting than the Original post itself. (No offense for the OP )

In other forums I visit, many threads briefly go off-topic. I don't see the problem. The OP still has a point, and our mini macro cat session was a small tangent. It's not like we've continued it and completely de-railed the thread.
If you restrict every thread to one small topic, you get rid of fun. A thread, to me, is like a conversation. You have a conversation with a friend. You'll often go off on tangents but, in the end, you'll probably get back to the main point of the conversation. |

If you restrict each chat room to its own separate approved topics of conversation, chat just doesn't flow as naturally. No fun. =P Yeah in DS we went off on "casual" tangents, but it always ended up being a little raunchier than what was normally in the lounge. So we always got back on topic, eventually. J/s.

Although it did seem ironic that the mods would take a thread completely off topic.

I can't believe people are still finding ways to bicker, but the current issues of chat were essentially solved with the adjusted rules found in my last post in this thread - also available from my signature. The only reason the thread was left open was in case people had feedback on this (although despite many efforts in chat, people don't seem keen to read the changes and continue asking for them to happen, so...) and a cat or two is not that big a deal.

Others who use the rooms and other chat sites more than I do will be better placed to comment but I have wondered whether there needs to be more "lounges" - this room seems heavily populated, particularly compared to the TorD and Scene rooms. I assume that as sites such as this grow in user numbers there comes a time when the room numbers need to expand to accommodate them.
