Weight Loss Challenge Thread
gD Biggest Loser (Healthy Living Weight Loss Challenge)
This thread will be using calorie counting- I recommend using MyFitnessPal to set your calorie goal. Note: As most of my threads; you are responsible for your own tracking and discipline. This thread is in place to help with accountability and having buddies to make the journey with you. Goal: Reach 100 points by Thursday September 6th 2018. This challene is from August 8th to September 6th. If the thread goes well, I'll make another one for next month. Risk: The amount of points under 100 will be very hard hits to your front thighs. You may choose the implement you choose. Reward: I'll make pretty certificates for those who make it to 100 points in the 30 days! -I apologize for my American news you'll need to convert for non American terms. How To Earn Points + 1 point per every 10,000 steps walked per day. +1 point for every 64oz of water you drink a day. (Must be just water no coffee or crystal light) + 1 point for every lb lost at the end of the 30 days. +1 point for every 30 mins exercise you perform. +1 point for 7+ hours of sleep. +1 point every day you stay within your calorie goal. How To Lose Points - 1 for 2 days in a row without exercise. -1 for each day you overeat -1 for every week you don't post an update.

This is a nice thread, I was only thinking to resume my fitness routine after having neglected it for months due to being busy/stressed. I have used google fit and will use that to track steps or fitness activities, however for nutrition I use an excel sheet I made. For privacy I will not be able to post all the fitness/food/weight related calorie tracking but will surely update with honest reports on points I earned in which categories. If that's acceptable I would like to join your thread. I like how you have incorporated sleep and water intake, they are crucial.

Maybe I should join as well. I neglected workouts for 2 months and regained the 3kg I lost. (Total goal I want to lose is 6 kg, but that's not easy).
Regarding calorie goals, if anybody has good and sound advice please let me know. (For reference, I weigh 75kg atm with a 176cm height and a fat percentage of 21.5%, my goal is to get back to under 70kg, which should me bring towards 15% fat).

I'd love to join! I'm already about to post on my blog some weight loss rules/punishments, and am going to do a challenge with another user, so this should be fun extra motivation! Is this going to be reported through myfitnesspal, or is it just an end of the month record the process here? Because I don't use myfitnesspal, I use a different app/system!

I don't have a tread mill at the moment, so I'll have to collect my steps the old-fashioned way. It would be easier with one though ) Regular and heavier dumbells, hacky sack, jogging, sit ups, push-ups, and those three exercise machines, plus walking... (Jump rope, treadmill, punching bag/speed bag, and sparring maybe in the future, but maybe not for most of this thread's timeframe) I'll try my best. Anyway, it will be helpful and I'll be that much healthier at the end of it.
