Nice, though he will escape some how he always does.
On a small side note, i always invisenged that the doctor had destroyed gallifray (it's been kind of alluded to)

i sadly am not looking forward to the new series for one reason Catherine Tate!

Agh, don't get me started on the show... I'll ramble and discuss for hours

About Tate, I say at least give her a chance! We saw her in the fun, not-too-serious Christmas special. I hope by now she will have developed and become a better companion!

I hope she'll have learnt to act! I think she is probably the most annoying, unfunny person on british tv at the moment.

What i'm hoping for form this series;
Less darleks, it's just getting silly now
an episode as scary as the empty child
more clues about the time war
more of a story arc
less rushed feel to the fanalie (the master episodes were great in my opinion, up to the point where to took about five minutes for the resolution)
see more inside the tardis (something i've always wanted, and with cgi shouldn't be to hard now, maybe a couple of shots of the doctor in a park, zooms out to reveal it's just a room in the tardis.)

the Krillitane to return (best new alien race, could pose a real threat and would be good, doctors main threats at the moment remain mechanical, darleks representitive to tanks and the fear after world war 2. Cybers basic fear of cybernetic intergration on humans etc etc.
The Krillitane however, biological. Seeking to improve themselves and take direct control of the universe (in a litural sense rather than just rule it) and they can hide amoungst us. This plays on much more current fears.

I think the Krillitane were poor examples of CGI, but each to their own.

Plus, don't target Tate based on The Runaway Bride. Like I said, it was Christmas and fun. PLUS it was her first acting job, so let's give her time to improve. I don't think Rose was brilliant at first.

Less daleks - Yeah, I want Caan + Davros in the finale.

Less rushed feel - It wasn't rushed this time, it just seemed it. The last 15 minutes of Utopia was brilliant though!

More of the TARDIS - Yeah, I hope we get a couple of interior scenes too.

I also want the classic cybermen back... the new ones suck major mechanical ass. Haha

I personaly don't like her from her stupid terrible show. just cause it was christmas fun is no excuse for her terrible actin. But hopefuly as you say she'll mature into the role. Who's the sort of job that'll make or break her acting wise i think.

They wern't geat cgi, but as a concept they were amazing, and cgi can always be improved.

It was the last 15 minutes of Last of the Time Lords i had a problem with, they spent all this time building up a brillant effect, the doctor really struggling and loosing, and then in about 5 minutes he's suddenly won! It seemed like they were trying to squeeze at least 30 minutes of content into 15.

Rose returns for 3 eps. One ep apparently contains just the three companions (Rose, Martha & Donna) and no Doctor.

No, sorry. As much as Donna was a bit of a dickhead in Runaway Bride, her character softened towards the end. I'm giving her a chance, unlike the rest of the fans.

Indeed it'll be the doctor lite episode of the series, like blink (amazing) and oh what ya call it the one with that monster made up by the kid frome blue peter, i actually quite liked that episode, even though most people didn't, it was just different.

You're right the story's a little rough, but fun. Which would be worse the Doctor escaping an always having fond memories or him laying there with his smile becoming larger with every hit.

You two are teasing me. Arg!! I'll have to catch up at some point on the miss episodes.

What type of pleasure items would the Doctor use?
