Getdare's minimum age is too young!

For those mods who want ti lock this for flaming, let's be sensible about it:

It is not fair for the entire thread to be locked to people if if they are not the ones doing the flaming, and if the OP is not doing the flaming. Just infract that person and if that person flames again, probate them. It is not fair if one person or a few people spoil it for the majority.


No offense to any 13-15 year olds on here, but with all of the material this site has and the type it is with so many... words that at least under 16s should not be seeing and pretty much everything else on this site... I just don't really think should be for under 16s. I mean, just the content and all, you know?

Another thing... why the heck is an over 18 site linked here? On a site where under 18s are and can easily go to that site.

Depp, please rethink this. Think please depp. Under 16s are exposed to too much stuff on here. I can see how this site can be appropriate for 16s and 17s, but 15 and under?!? Heck no! TBH depp, I for one am shocked this site is not shut down yet. Depp, clearly the Holy Spirit has opened my eyes to see this and it wants me to save you and this site.

Now, I will probably get next to no supporters in here.. but that's fine. That just means you are a supporter of allowing those ages to be exposed/see everything they should not be on this site which is not good... you are actually being ew there.

BTW don't say they all can just look the stuff up online because it is up to the site creator to make sure they do not become exposed to the stuff on their site.

I was on sites where there was like almost no porn, porn talk just like this site, and the age limit was 18. There is a reason why it is 18...

How can I leave (to whoever is showing me that part of the policy) when depp needs so much help?

I agree with you on one point, Lokelake. I don't think that younger teens should be able to access and see information that is discussed on the site. There is no reason to attack this one site, though, since any other site can provide the same information, same conversations, and same community. I can easily lie and say that I am 18, which I frequently did to access sites when I was younger than 18. Even sites that are about video games require you to provide your age, but that doesn't prevent anyone from accessing it. Look at chatroulette. There are nude men on that site, and ANYONE can access it. Maybe the holy spirit should open your eyes to that, Lokelake.

Ok, that's just stupid... having chatroullete being open to everyone! What ever happened to the US preventing young aged people to see that kind of stuff?? Well, I hope that site does something to prevent that if not, then have it get shut down.

I'm honestly surprised it hasn't been shut down. The only thing is that there are plenty of pornography related sites that anyone can access. Some don't even ask you your age. This site is relatively tame compared to those, as no nudity is shown. Also, the link provides a stable income for the site, and unless you would like to pay it, its the best Depp can do.

Without making you enter your credit card information though, there is really no other way to verify an age on the internet. You could also show your driver's license somehow, but for those that are truly over 18, that would be an extreme hassle.

It's a great thought, loke. The Holy Spirit probably is working within you.

However you have to notice that getdare's light level of all that is sex is what brought younger teens like me to this site in the first place.

I joined up here maybe almost 2 years ago when I was almost 14. The reason why I liked this site is because it wasn't all out porn but it was light enough not to feel too guilty about.

This problem is up to depp. But even if you put an age limit on this site younger kids would still get through.

I don't think he should, however. This site helps many curious kids and adults find themselves every day.

First of all Loke, it shouldn't be a suprise that this site hasn't been shut down...it is not breaking any laws. I am not going to post a big long arguement (mainly since it is not needed) but if users think they are mature enough and are 13, then go ahead. I believe the mods do a great job trying to stop any weirdos out there. The users know right away by reading the privacy policy (which they don't but should do):

I agree with you there. Especially cause of the M/s stuff too because they should not be exposed to M/s type of stuff at their age or do anything that this site includes. If you make like a younger age section and ensure that only of age people go into the higher leveled stuff then maybe. Like, everyone has access to the young and you can only post the younger type of truth and dares. Then the next level where only that level and higher can go, but not younger can. Then a third doing the same as the first two and finally a final where only the older can go into.

Say the ages of 13-15 for tier 1, 16-17 for tier 2, 18-20 tier 3, finally 21 and older tier 4.

This is just something that would prevent a 13-20yr from doing a 21 or older drinking dare. The M/s section would have to be 18+ as well.

That's just my thoughts and suggestion.

If I recall correctly, M/s is already age restricted to 18+ and I have noticed rigorous enforcement of it.

This doesn't work. Age limits are different depending on the country. For instance, I can't drink here legally, but I can drink in Europe legally. I can drive here legally, but only once I turned 18 can I drive in some European countries. What's to stop anyone from lying about their age anyway? The M/s section is already 18+ to post, who cares if they can read it?
