It seems like a regular part of getdare is seeing threads which have finished or had their last post 6 months ago getting bumped by someone who doesn't understand when a thread has died.
Maybe a way to stop this could be to give the creator of the thread a button to lock the thread so that no one can respond to it and bump it 6 months down the line. It may also be give rise to some new creative ideas.
