It is sort of yes to both. Sometimes I misjudge myself and accept dares I don't want to do later. Of course, I do inform the darer about this for modifications or punishments.

I have been 100 percent truthful on here so far. I haven't had questions I felt uncomfortable to answer.

I came to getDare to find ideas and inspiration for how to challenge myself. I felt I had become too timid and isolated and whatnot. I found ideas, inspiration, and lots of cool, friendly, fascinating people. I seldom do proper dares - but I set tasks for myself.

When I say I do them I always do them (or try! sometimes I fail, but I do try!).

As truthfully as I can. Sometimes one wants to sound cooler than one is, or play up/down some trait, but I work hard on catching those moments of weakness. getDare is the place were I don't need to hide anything. (With one exception: I sometimes obfuscate personal identifying details.)

Sure, a one-legged Boston taxi driver of Indonesian descent. My hobbies are water colours and kung fu. I also like horses.

In the past I actually did most of the dares until 2017 when my health failed now I have to pick and choose what dares I can do and which I am no longer capable off .

I'm pretty sure everyone secretly skips a dare and I'm no exception. If I post that I will do a dare then I will definitely do the dare. If I get dared to do a dare then I will do the dare, or might not do it. But if the darer keeps contacting me then I have no choice but to send a report, thus do the dare.

I don't do all the dares I'm given, but when I say I do or did one, it's the truth. Otherwise it would just make me feel weird and it would be pointless. I don't feel bound by a contract though, so if I want to back out I do, and openly say so.

I don't answer many truths (at least in public posts) but again when I do it's honest, yeah. That's what gets me off with truths so I'd be a fool not to ^^

I generally only agree to do dares when I have to provide proof. Otherwise I don't find it anywhere near as fun, exhilarating, embarrassing, etc.

I want to do dares though due to my anxiety I often tend to shy away. I'm trying to break that habit and explore build a bigger comfort zone for things, but sometimes I require a push I just don't have.

Hard to say. I prefer actions over words, where most prefer words over actions. As a result, I'm actually a lot nicer in person than I am in online as I show people I care by respecting them, helping them, being considerate or trying to anticipate their needs/wishes but not so much by whispering sweet little nothings in their ear - I doubt I'm actually anything like what people here think I am. Except for being a sadist, that part is pretty consistent along the board.
