Or alternatively anyone in real life that you fancy that is a little odd?

I have had crushes that are odd in other senses: I have had crushes on women who are fictional characters in novels. I have also had crushes on historical figures who are long dead.

To answer your question, here are two examples.

The "detective character" in the mystery novels by Nevada Barr is a park ranger named Anna Pigeon. I have a crush on her. She only exists in the printed word.

As for historical figures, my current crush is Jane Austen.
