I've noticed so many members don't have one, which is weird as some of them have been here for years and still have no picture.
It doesn't have to be of you, it can be of anything, a random picture, a rainbow, something related to your name or hobbies. I sound cheesey, but yeah, get an avatar.

It's also a really helpful way for people to actually remember you. I know I tend to forget people I talk to by usernames if they don't have a picture.
