- first person recpmmends a direction
- second person can agree and move the expedition. if they disagree then they recommend a second direction choice

You will always have to select a direction. If you wish to retrace your steps, you may do so by selecting that direction when I ask you which way to go.

As you can see from your first direction, you chose to go left, which was a dead end. Your only option then was to go back to the beginning by going right. I will always present you with every available direction at each step.
