Yes, this one is why I tend to come here in periodic batches. I really love it here, the people here are kindred spirits, but the supply/demand ratio seems drastically out of balance. It often leaves me both drained and disappointed.

For a period I tried to compensate this slanted ratio, giving out dares and replying to threads which were for all intends and purposes dead on arrival. But it soon turned into an extraordinary amount of work. I still try - otherwise I'm part of the problem, but the drive has since eroded significantly.

It's easy to receive and hard/intensive to create and lay out a dare, but without the latter a lot of fun threads are doomed to die.

Fuck. That is so me. Some things I now find easier, but some other things are still so behind curtains that I need that liquid courage... Like you, I don't regret what I did with the help of alcohol. It may even be the other way around. Alcohol may have enabled me to have the best experiences I've ever had. May have enabled me to find myself. Because often it is just about having courage to do what you want to do.
