Do other daddies feel this with their little/baby? The want and need to not let them go, need them in your care and no one elses, and want them to let you take care of things because your the one that can take their troubles away.

I know that I get very protective of my little girls. I want to make sure nothing bad happens to them. That's not realistic but I do my best. I also want to spoil the crap out of them, lol. Usually, IF they've been good they get what they want. Have to be good though. Otherwise....

I also want to thank minimarshmellow for starting this thread. It's a great idea. Was nice to find a place for us Caregivers also. Hopefully it will be a little more active.

This thread will be the result of what people put into it. If everyone drops their "Im a little/caregiver" and leaves, it won't result in much. If people take the time to communicate daily, it could blossom into something great.

What is your favorite thing to get from your littles?

And all you littles.
What's your favorite thing to make or give to your Caregiver?

I know my favorite thing is a drawing or ️️coloring page. First it's something from my little girl. And also she has a chance to be creative and imaginative.

Hmm that is a hard question. I am horrible at coloring and drawing, but sometimes I try. Something I do like to do for my Caregiver is if they are having a bad day I try to be extra sweet. I like doing little things, like making sure my chart is done without asking, doing my chores, and tons of cuddles.

Nice! That would be a nice thing if Im having a bad day. Last thing you need when you're having a bad day is for my little girl to act up and not listen. And cuddles are always good, lol.

You do realize that how well you can draw or color isn't the point right? I've gotten stick figure drawings that I love! It's not the skill I care about. It's the meaning behind it. That you took the time to do it. And were thinking of your Daddy or Caregiver.

I know. I am a perfectionist, so I like things to be perfect. I can't even color in the lines, so my pages are always far from perfect. I especially want it to be perfect if I am giving it to a caregiver. They mean a lot to me so when I cant show them exactly that in my drawing or color page it just makes me frustrated.

And to minimarshmellow- I do understand what you mean. You want it to be just right. But also just doing it in the first place, no matter how well, is enough to show how much you care. Shows you were thinking of them. And took time to do something. The gesture means as much as the actual drawing or ️️coloring page. That's my opinion at least.

Yeah I guess that is true. I think I have only had one past caregiver say that I needed to learn to stay in the lines.

I also like trying to color with my left hand. It makes me feel much more little since it is really sloppy and looks like a little kid did it.
