Good question - Louise might have to answer that. I think 4" should be the absolute minimum, or if they are platforms, 4" difference between the heel and platform.

We need also to decide how many pairs of heels. I would tend towards the idea that she should only own one pair of shoes, which are heels. That way it is a choice of bare feet or heels.

Being winter, perhaps ankle boots would be a good choice. Natsu101 suggested these which look good but it would be nice to consider a few options before we decide!

Oooh I second that.
I'd say she gets two pairs of shoes, this one and one like what I sent, and only gets to wear the warmer ones when it's below a certain temperature outside

My vote is for 1 for - work days 16 degrees and below and other day outings, 3 for evening wear and work days with temperature above 16 degrees.
