Ok well, first of all the meaning of hardcore has greatly changed in the past 2 or 3 years because now when you are hardcore, generally you play whiney screamo music and if you wish to put slipknot in that catergory then be my guest. Secondly, I could probably name any band and they would be more "hardcore" than slipknot.
