Indeed John did hear Sarah and decided it was time too put Lucy out of her misery.

"Lucy will you please come to the end of the corridor and turn left alone" John bellowed trying to sound like the voice of the ghost which he had doctored using the computer.

"Alone" Lucy panicked, hearing full well what had been instructed.

Realising what she would have to do Lucy crept as slow as she could down the second corridor hoping that Uncle Albert wouldn't hurt her.

"What do you want" she stuttered as she left her two friends behind.

There is nothing to be scared of, there is nothing to be scared of, Lucy kept saying to herself trying to believe she would soon wake up from a horrible nightmare.

"Boo" John shouted at the top of his voice as he opened a cabinet door and jumped out at Lucy wearing a white sheet.

"Arrrrrrrrrrrrrr" came a cry from Lucy as she turned once more and bolted for her friends.

John just stood there and laughed before calmly walking up to his 3 friends.

"I thought you didn't believe in ghosts" he laughed as he pulled the white sheet from off his head.

Sarah smiled before giving John a high 5. "We defiantly scared the wits out of Lucy" she said joining John in a wicked laugh.

Kicking Sarah's ankle Dani growled "So you had something to do with all of this, "Just you wait, I'll get my revenge"

Not before we have some more fun with you tomorrow night on your birthday, Sarah thought to herself, looking forward to the events they had planned for the very next day.

Lucy laid on the floor trying to control her fear, now coming down to earth that everything was just one big prank she finally asked "Why did you have to do all of that?"

Quickly john answered "Well I just wanted to know how strongly you believed there was no such thing as ghosts and just prove to yourself that there's a logical answer to everything"

"But how come the doors locked" Dani asked, still puzzled.

"De der" sniggered Sarah as she pointed to the floor bolt.

"God how stupid was we for not even looking for a bolt?" asked Dani not really hoping for an answer.

"Well no stupider than you normally are" giggled Sarah.

Dani scowled at one of her best friends, trying to plot revenge there and then.

Opening the door the 4 players walked into the still dark room where the others were waiting still unaware of everything that had just taken place.

"Are you ok" Laura asked her sister.

Lighting a few candles John explained everything that had taken place.

Everyone was mesmerised at how John had managed to pull such a cracking prank off, and with so little planning.

"So why are we sitting here with candles on" Lucy asked, still a little unsettled at all that had taken place.

"I thought it would be a better scene to tell the story" John answered before disappearing to switch the power back on.

A few minutes later he returned with the drinks and biscuits he'd promised earlier.

The players all gathered round eating the delicious snacks before Laura asked if there was anything else planned for the evening.

"Well I thought we could watch a movie" John suggested.

"Oh what have you got" Mark asked hoping for something with a bit of action.

Rushing to the DVD player John selected the movie.

Everyone was sat down comfortably when John dimmed the lights once again.

"What film is it, what film is it" asked Brian impatiently.

"Well to keep in with spirits for the night I thought we could watch
