No info to tell you for this one, the outcome of this puzzle will give you the full dare. This puzzle is split in to a few stages that you might need to work out bit by bit. My first suggestion would be that you focus on the music and see if you can find a way to identify it, before you start looking at the weird information on the left hand side.

What about the two years with doubles associated with them? What happened in those years in the relevant subject? Does that difference hlep identify something?

You're right, I did realise this while writing them up but as you mentioned, found the letters made even less sense with the place version.

I think you're onto something there, it seems relevant in some way. I've also noticed that both times a year repeats (2016 and 1990), they're accompanied by the same "5th" and "14th" which I now believe might be the date in May when the finals took place each year, not the ranking positions (apologies for leading everyone down the wrong path there!)

Oh, yeah, every single one is the date of the finals. Maybe we are over complicating and just need the winning artist/song/country and the number is the letter? Will try this now.
