Sarah looked at John with her mouth wide open, what could his plan be?

"I heard you all talking earlier about ghosts and I really want to trick Lucy into thinking this place is haunted" John said in his deep masculine voice.

"Oh, sounds like fun, so what do you have in mind" Sarah asked with a broad smile spreading from ear to ear.

John reeled off a few ideas that he’d thought of, while the pair prepared the evenings drinks.

"Are these glasses replaceable" Sarah asked, coming up with her own plan.

"No, those are precious, but these are just common glasses from any local shop" answered John as he handed down 10 rather dirty glasses.

After a good scrub Sarah soon had them looking as good as new. Taking a tray the glasses were soon in place. Chucking to herself, she wonder what the reaction from the others would be.

"Just wait there a second" instructed John as he disappeared to lock all the doors, stopping anyone from entering and crucially exiting certain rooms.

Returning John also had a small microphone that was handy to record any short periods of sound.

"This is what I would like you to do" started John before asking Sarah to walk up the creepy staircase.

"What staircase?" asked Sarah wondering what John was planning?

John led Sarah through a few rooms to the bottom of a large staircase. Made from wood it certainly looked to be as old as the rest of the creepy manor house.

"Why do you want me to walk up and down these?" she asked puzzled with John’s request.

John held up the dictaphone like microphone device, "I want to record the sound that it makes" he finally answered.

Smiling Sarah begun to understand johns idea. Sneakily she carefully walked up and then down the stairs causing the wood to creak under her light weight. "Are you going to secretly play this to the others?" asked Sarah, beginning to like Johns plan more and more.

John didn't answer the question however his grin told Sarah that it was certainly part of the plan.

"Now will you quickly follow me to the other side of the house" he asked. Leading Sarah to other parts of the premises most people wouldn't dream to imagine about.

"Now I want you to record me" he asked, well aware that they were far enough away from the others not to disturb their activities.

"I most certainly will" Sarah smiled as she took the device of John and was quickly shown how everything worked.

"Right are you ready to record?" asked John.

With a nod from Sarah, John let out a low pitch groan. With a separate recording he said "After 200 years, tonight is the night when someone may replenish my spirit" A third recording was John saying, "Will someone set Uncle Albert free" It's finally time for my revenge. After several other recordings John finally decided he had the recordings he needed to put his plan into action.

"What time is it?" John asked.

"5 to 10" Sarah answered realising they had better rejoin the players soon before they realised they were up to something, and their plan would be spoiled.

John gave Sarah instructions on how to rejoin the others. Rushing back empty handed Sarah asked "Does anyone want any biscuits"

"Oh biscuits, what types has John got?" Laura asked her sister.

"I'll just go and find out" answered Sarah with her plan on stalling her drinks clearly working"

As quick as her legs would carry Sarah ran down the corridors to find John. The house did seem spooky however knowing she was soon to play a prank on several players made her feel happy about it.

John was waiting as planned, setting up the next exciting step.
