Dare Advent Calendar 2010

Seasons greetings to all!

As many of us in judeo-christian or stupidly-over commercialised areas are vaguely aware, tomorrow is December 1st- marking the start of the advent season leading up to Santa's birthday (right?)

For the members of getdare- this hallowed countdown marks the return of the dare advent calendar- 25 days of holiday themed dares! Dares will almost always be posted the evening before to allow ample time to complete.

So, wrap up warm, put on your least hated christmas number 1, and let's begin:

1st December

To kick off with a getdare advent calendar tradition, change your getdare avatar to a christmas themed pic, and keep it for the length of advent.

For those of a more artistic/ indecisive mind- try to use a different Christmas themed avatar for every day of advent… (Have fun Betty and others!)

I can do this, and of course I change my christmas avatar daily during December.
In fact, I think I'll make my own avatars, this should give me something fun to do.

Ha ha- yup- but with everyone being in different time zones, posting on same day would give some people less time, or if they have school/college they wouldn't see it until evening and with some dares not be able to do them.

Plus- you know what they say- it comes earlier every year!

2nd December

Secret Dare Santa

For those of you who don’t work/ have friends- secret santa involves a group of people putting their names in a hat, then picking out someone else’s name and buying them a small value gift- they are then distributed and no one knows who bought them their present.

So- in this spirit: come up with (or if very lazy or out of ideas copy from another thread) a dare for someone else to do- then PM me with the dare. You all have a week to send them in, and after this I will randomly pick who does each dare, and post them all in this thread so you can see who has to do your dare, and what dare someone else has created for you to do.

Limits:
-No asking for pictures. Fullstop.
-Dares can be wild/ odd, but will only be given to people when the dare fits in with their limits, if your dare is against the limits of everyone who PMs a dare in, I’ll let you know and ask you to tone it down a bit.
-Ideally write a dare that be done by either sex- there may not be enough of either to match up with gender specific dares.
-Be creative!

Bear in mind, that if you don’t send me a dare, you won’t get one in return- so get thinking!! All dares will be posted for the 9th December.

And just to say- loving the xmas avatars! thanks for taking part, hope you have fun!
