well done as always but what happened to the pics they were a nice addition lol small spelling mistake in the question though "GIRFS" I'm assuming you mean GIFTS?

depending on if the partridge and the tree are seperate gifts the answer is either 364 or 376. also this assumes that on each day of christmas you get all the gifts again (1st day partridge in a pear tree + 2nd day two turtle doves + a partridge in a pear tree=equals 3 gifts in the first 2 days) not one type of gift each day (1st day partridge in a pear tree + 2nd day two turtle doves=2gifts in the first two days) in which case the answer is 78 or 79 depending on whether the partridge and the tree are seperate or not. Sorry about the long answer but I love picking questions apart lol

While working this out she received a text message saying

Looking at the message Sarah wondered why she wasn't allowed to tell her poker friends. What will be happening, was it to do with Amber and Marks dare, she wondered. The place name was also a little confusing, why hadn’t John asked to meet at his house. Trying to picture the house and location Sarah could think of no connection whatsoever

For everyone except Amber and Mark the afternoon lessons dragged. Hardly waiting for the bell to go, the friends rushed out of school/college.

Making their way back to the wood, Amber began to get goose bumps. Where would her brother put those creepy things? Was there any way of getting out of her awkward situation.

Parting company they all wondered when they would see each other again.

All evening Sarah was tense, thinking about the message she had received, seemed to make the time drag even more. Uncertain about the destination she decided to look it up on the internet. Realising it was where she originally believed she knew there was more than one options regarding the route. Deciding to set off with plenty of time, Sarah got into some casual clothes uncertain of what the mysterious meet up was about.

"I'm off out" she called up to her sister.

"Where are you going?" cried Laura more in curiosity than anything else.

Sarah didn't know what to say, she had always been told never to lie, and despite the convincing bluffs she had learnt during the recent poker games, she still wasn't a confident liar.

"Just off to meet a friend" she answered, not knowing what she was really off to the unusual destination for.

Laura said nothing, as Sarah dashed out of the house and disappeared down the lane. Not confident enough to take the short cut through the woods on her own as it was now getting dark she decided to go the long way around through the meandering streets

With a steady walk she eventually arrived, still 5 minutes early. Glad she hadn't seen any of the poker players and that Laura hadn't asked too many awkward questions she knocked on the door.

She received one off the biggest shocks of her life when the door was opened.
