No offence depp, as cool as this new thanks feature is (really! Tis' awesome!) I'll probably end up writing sincere, good-old fashioned "This post is awesome, blah blah blah" posts.
But still, awesome new feature!

Personally, I'd leave it like it is. I mean, we still have the thread rating system. If you dislike a thread, simply rate it 1/2 stars. If you like it, you can rate it 4/5 stars and even give it a "thanks". |

I like this "Thanks" button. It could always be a "No Thanks"
But I think people would use it out of context, simply for disliking a member.

"Thanks" is a way of saying "thanks/I like this" instead of actually posting on the thread. Thing is, if you don't do a dare (or you don't like the idea), you simply don't post on the thread - or most people don't anyway. So, in my opinion, a "no thanks" would be rather pointless. If you dislike the idea, ignore the thread. Or rate it 1/2 stars? |

You might think this is pointless, but a 'Good Try' button would be nice. Gets rid of a lot of the problems associated with 'Boos', 'No Thanks' etc.
(More for the Dare, Truth, Stories sections.)

wouldent a like/dislike system kinda reminds me of the karma system that was removed.
