I don’t believe he started two invalid games. Starting an invalid game would be more than one post in with, let’s say, a current score of 7. If he then said, “10+1=11, let’s go” - that would be starting a new game.

But if the last post was 10+1=11, and then some time later he reposts “10+1=11, let’s go” - that is more in the nature of saying “A game was started, does someone want to play. If some girl then played 11-2=9, and the game was in progress, it would take someone being deliberately ignorant to ignore that and go back to one of the other 10+1=11 posts and call that a “new game” and begin playing on that one.

I see no difference between a second post of “10+1=11” and “The count is 10+1=11, who’s in?”

I would say "let's try again" & " let's start a new one" is attempting to start a new game without regard to the one already started.

But he only said, “Let’s start a new one” on the first post where he really was starting a new one. No other post made any reference to starting a NEW game.

“Let’s try again” and “Who dares” don’t demonstrate obvious intent to start a new game. What if he had just said, “Bump: 10+1=11” to draw attention to the new game started in 2044. As I read them, that is all they were.

Then what he would have done is the same as he did before when he just said the number it was at. I.e. he said 'game at 11' such as post 2046 or 2049 not '10+1=11'

Theres not even a need to post a number for a bump, you can just say bumping thread, game already started. Not that it usually needs to be bumped since thread is pretty active.

Triangle clearly read it the same way I have and the same way I assume many who regularly play here would have which is that he is starting a new game without previously killing his old game.
