Doctor Who Confidential axed. About time, in my opinion. I loved seeing Matt, Corden, Karen and Arthur dicking about but the rest was shit. An episode with the return of the Cybermats and sod all about them. Instead, we were treated to Danny Hargreaves blowing shit up for 20-odd minutes every time.

DWC used to be good and about the actors thoughts etc and it was good crack. Now it's to technical and mind bashing and ruins the effect the show had on you.
Now last weeks episode was okay. Some minor issues. Love yet again the triumph over every... And the Cybermen weren't really explained and it was taken from one of the Games developed last year... ASide from that it was great to see the Cybermats back. Love them things. Todays episode looks over the top and looks to have a lot in it. I am expecting big things since the whole series has built up to it, the second half has done nothing but background and ruined a lot of episodes.

I don't know about you guys, but I am EXTREMELY dissapointed by the anti-climatic way they explained the Doctor's death. And best line of the whole series so far? - "What has happened to time?" "A Women"

Cant decide if I like it or not. Over simplistic and it seemed like they wanted to shove as many characters into the episode as they possibly could. Much like Last years finale. Canton Turned out to be well pretty much useless. No explanation of Rivers Timeline really... Nor the Silence been permanently revoked... In all it unknotted a things but answered nothing.

I've just watched it, not a clue what's happened, but I quite enjoyed it. I like how Dr Who does that, gives something for you 'Dr Who nerds' to chew on, but keeps idiots like me entertained too. :P

i still haven't worked out how the Doctor dropped the Ponds off at their house and they acted like they didn't own it. According to the timeline they already did.

TIA: The Ponds are summoned by the older Doctor, and witness his death. TIA: The Ponds then go on adventures with the 'young' Doctor. They're then chronological up until "The God Complex". TGC: The Doctor drops them off in a new house. In "The Wedding of River Song", at the end, River appears from just after the events of "The Time of Angels" to Rory and Amy in their garden which they got given in "The God Complex". She then informs Amy and the Doctor that the Doctor didn't die and, presumably, when she tells them this, it triggers Amy and Rory's memories and they're able to remember the aborted timeline that was "TWoRS". Then, probably, their cameo in "Closing Time" is later down the line for Amy and Rory once they've settled into this new house and have stopped having regular adventures with the Doctor. I think? |

Will Miss Elizabeth Sladen And of course the Brig. Got a mention in the episode, half the audience mustn't have had a clue. But in fairness it was the only sad part in it the episode and it felt a bit, rushed.

I agree it was great but had it been less rushed I think it'd have held more gravity. Inexperienced viewers know nothing of him.

I'm sure everyone will have heard of him. It was the 'sudden-ness' that made the impact, I thought. No need for an overly long speech or anything; just a quick blow, to the audience and to the Doctor.
