Questions about scat

For as long as I remember, I've always had a thing for pooping my pants, and had been opposed to the thought of ever doing scat, but I've been growing more interested in the thought of giving scat a try.
1) What advice would you give to someone thinking of trying scat?
2) What does poop taste like?
3) Is it hard to swallow poop?
4) Is it safe to swallow your own poop, or should I just leave it in my mouth and spit it out when I'm done?
5) How do you get the taste/smell of poop off of your breath when you're done?
6) Are there any special precautions or safety measures I should take?

Same advice I would give someone for just about ay other kink: Personal responsibility. Which means you are responsible for your own safety and others involved in it (unless you're doing it solo of course), you are responsible for your own education.

The risks are high. Let's see... relatively high risks of bacterial and viral infections, e-coli, salmonella, shigella, campylobacter hepatitis A and E, jaundice are all possible results of eating your poop or having it in direct contact with your mouth, nose, eyes, open cuts or wounds, or sores.
