Hello everyone!
I'm Flo, and I'm a student.
I've actuelly in mind to create a sort of bid app for Windows which host all lot of functionnalities, such as a dare giver, a keylocker with porn, a database of websites and shortcuts to another bondages software such as SBBJ for example.
But I'll need your help: what functionnalities are you interested in? For example, what do you think it's actuelly missing on other softwares which give dares, which are keyholders, or any idea you have!
This app will be made for gay people only.
If people are interested to join this project, I'm coding in VB.NET with visual studio 2013

Hey,

It's nice to see someone wanting to make a contribution to the community, so I'll try and help in what ways I can.

Content
- I would suggest starting off my looking at exisiting content. This can be hard to find, so I will share with you the things I think might be relevant: Emlalock, OneSubmissiveAct, Custom Tease Instructor, FapRoulette, Online Stamina Trainer. These are things I am aware of and don't use. It might give you some ideas. I'm sure you've heard of some of them but maybe not all.
- I wouldn't make it exclusively for gay people, as that will alienate a large part of the community, when it wouldn't be that difficult to also include anyone else.

Technical
- I suggest not making it a downloadable service, but rather an online one. This will make it much easier for users to first access the app and allow for much smoother user interaction
- With this, using Java or JavaScript rather than VB, depends on what you want to do, would be a sensible decision.
- Set up a website hosted on something like Heroku or DigitalOcean, either for free or funded through donations and/or advertising.

I hope it works out and you manage to get this project off the ground.

Realwing,
I know most of the websites you mentionned.
I'll analyse them and will try to find a way to include them or to make something similar.
For the fact to open it to non-gay people, you're right, but at the beginning it'll be only for gay, after for everyone.
You suggest me to make an online service, but I don't know how to do it: I know how to make normal websites but not online apps, so sorry I'll be to download and coded in VB.NET because I don't know the Java and everybody has the .net framework installed on his computer, what's not true for Java.
I'll create a website after when the software will be on his way to be published to allow everybody to download it.

Hey,

Using VB simply because you prefer it is good enough reason to use it, as opposed to any other language. This is your personal project and it's important that you are comfortable with the tools you are using and that you're having fun doing it. Otherwise, you may give up and it will never be completed.

I would love to do a project like this, but I simply don't have the time. I would say to ask if you wanted any help, but I think google would do a much better job than me.

I don't think this is the kind of post you were looking for. Probably something more along the lines of content suggestion. So, I wish you the best of luck and look forward to seeing it in action.

p.s. I would say java is more suitable than .net, as half the users would probably be using some sort of mobile device.

Just visited your page:

- Looks professional, slick.

- Text moving slightly too fast (you might not think so since you wrote it).

- A more in-depth preview of content? Maybe a short video of the software in action. The interface screenshot is there, but you can't enlarge the image to see details.

- The background images give me the impression that your content is geared toward subs who want younger tops. Maybe change to something more abstract/symbolic or just some cool graphics or a logo.

P.S. Feel free to look at my previous posts for inspiration or copy/edit my dares. You should also look at threads dealing with content outside your own taste like scat, public and pics because they can be part of bondage play.

I changed the speed of the slider, from 4 sec to 6 sec.
I changed too the pictures to represent more the BDSM of the app.
I maked a page to explain what's BonDesktop and posted pictures.
