Question for mods

Hi there,

Every time I report a thread, I always wonder. How much should I put in the message box? Is it more helpful to have a short "Belongs in TORD Online" type message, or a longer description, or no message at all. I worry that you don't want to read a long message, and lord knows this site probably takes up enough of your time as it is, but a short message seems rather perfunctory, almost as though I'm telling you how to do your job.

So, mods, what is your preference? And do other users have thoughts on the matter?

Examples of things I write in the report text box are:

• Requesting dares in the Dares section = prohibited.
• Asking for advice = not a dare = prohibited in the Dares section.
• Ä$k1Ñg 4 ÐáRε5 (≡ \/\/Γσπφ ƒØ®µ/\/\ $ε©τIØÑ).™
• Asking for dares (= wrong forum section).
• According to the title, the user is 16 years old.
• This ad belongs in the s/M Area.
• Spamming in different sections of the forum:
  [link 1].
  [link 2].
  [link 3].
  et cetera.
• Person Above thread posted in the wrong (sub) forum.
• Dice dare thread belonging in the Dice Dares sub forum and not here. (done just now)
• [Something that has nothing to do when the reason of reporting is too obvious.]
• Neither a punishment nor idea, just a poor ad.

So basically, I just write whatever I want in those reports. Those text boxes that you need to fill up is only to give some sort of indication of what is wrong with the particular thread. But when it's obvious that the thread breaks the rules or just spam-ish, then the report text is only sideshow. Still, it helps so don't stop writing funny things.
