my question is simple. do you think 14 is to young to be the legal age to be eligible for sex in canada?

p.s. you can have sex with 12 year olds if ur 14... but im not to sure on that part.

honestly? age doesn't matter ot me.. I do find it BS that anal is illegal until you are 18 in canada

that sux, 18, in us we have this 1 1 rule, for the people uder 16. You can be older or younger by 1 year and 1 day, to have sex, unless u are older then 16.

In michigan you can have sex if you are over 16, if your 16 you can have sex with someone who is 45 if you wanted but you cant look at porn or buy sex toys untill your 18!! does that make any since at all????? NO

To be honest it doesn't really make all that much differnce, seeing as that no one goes round and asks are you having sex, and don't worry it's the same over here anal sex is forbidden until 18, but what they don't know won't hurt them now will it?

legal age in my state is 17.. but of course no sex toys or porn til 18

"Current developments
The current Conservative government has introduced a bill to raise the age of consent in Canada to 16, while retaining the "close in age" exception allowing 14 and 15 year olds to have sexual relationships with individuals less than five years older than themselves. As of June 2007 this bill is being considered by the Senate Standing Committee on Legal and Constitutional Affairs."

This means Canada lets 14yr olds have sex with 9 year olds

The legal age in germany is 18 to have sex with
and i think that is ok

That is not correct... Minimum Age is 14, but with restrictions until you are 18...

Edit:
Strafgesetzbuch (§§ 174 - 184f)... Short Version as far as i understand it:
14 is the minimum age for sex as long as you are not a ward (teacher for example) and no prostitution
as soon as one person is over 21 the minimum age is 16 (again with the "no ward" and "no prostitution" exception)
I am no lawyer... so i may have misinterpreted some of it...
