There's tons you can do, but there's not a lot you should do. Chemical play done wrong can result in severe burns, and possibly even fatal chemical reactions or allergic reactions.

As with any kinky play- take it slow the first time. Test it out on your arm first just in case of allergies. Everyone's skin reacts differently. Also when your using it, try it out with a little first. Never underestimate how strongly the chemical will feel.

Some things to have on hand:
Milk
Water
Anti-inflammatory medicine
and Gloves

Though don't follow this religiously. It's good to have on hand for the first couple of times, but I don't anymore now that I know how to navigate the play safely.

Most chemical play is done with capsaicin or menthol. Or something similar. Capsaicin is the active ingredient in chilis and menthol in peppermints/toothpaste/icy hot. Other things such as ginger, have similar active ingredients that provide that burning sensation. It's called gingerol, if you're curious.

The sensation could last from 20 mins all the way to hours depending on what you use, so I don't recommend trying intense things such as jalapenos or icy hot if you're the kind of person who cums and then is not interested. It's more for longterm play. It's not a bad thing if you are like that- it's just that after the good sensations of being close are over, the drop is not so good.
