Do you collect anything? If so, why do you collect it and how many of it have you accumulated until now?

I collect currency from around the world and (souvenir) shot glasses. I think the former is called numismatics and I have no clue what collecting shot glasses is called.

I've never counted either, but I have a considerable amount of world currency and also shot glasses :3

Teddy bears.

All sorts, from little pewter ones, to Steif.

I have around 400 of them.

And Tamiya radio controlled cars, but only have about 18 of them.

All I collected was rocks. Any shape or color or size I wanted it if it looked cool I don't know how many. Other then that it was normal things like cards or game magazines etc.

I collect lost memories. I would count them, but they are lost and I can't seem to find them. But definitely keep collecting more as I get older...

LOL Thanks! I have lost some bad and some good. Darned things are so slippery, they are hard to hold onto. And they blend in with the background of my thoughts, so hard to locate.

I used to collect spoons and precious moments figurines.

Right now I collect colored pencils. I've like 20 sets... I want to collect coloring books and teddy bears too.

As a child my brother and I very shortly did "collect" fossils. Mostly because we got a collection given as a gift (not even for an event like a birthday; just like that). Naturally growing up we quickly lost interest.

I don't collect anything at the moment but a few people mentioned collecting books. In that regard I have fallen in love with older (around 50 years or so) scientific books. They are so incredibly charming when you see beautiful sketches/ drawings done by hand and not by computer. Or scientific symbols not accessible on a typewriter and being manually planted in the original.
Simply charming and the amount of work put into those books warms my heart.

However it is not easy to collect any other than lending from the library and hording them.
