Submitting to your Airbnb host

So you go on a vacation and you are staying at an Airbnb place and the host lives there too.

What would be some little or not so little acts of submission to the host without making it too obvious or making them uncomfortable

I was thinking stuff like volunteering to do chores, addressing them sir/ma’am, ask for permission for thing I would usually not ask etc
