For what can I (and others) use the report button?
- For any thing or any one that breaks even one of the rules?
- When a thread is posted in the wrong section?
- When something offenses you? (racism, too much criticism, etc.)
- Most of the other rules of the section? (or maybe just a few specific ones)

I am wondering this because sometimes I see (for example) a thread asking for dares in the dare section, which is meant for giving dares away. Yet people are giving the thread poster dares, so I am confused. Does few people care where certain threads are posted? Is the thread reported, but mods don't trash or move the thread? Does no one report the thread? These things normally stops me from reporting wrong placed thread. Just because people are still giving the thread poster dares and are helpful. Why should I report such a thing?

What it says in the getDare Posting Rules thread:

• For what reasons do you report a thread?
• Would you post a thread asking for dares that has been posted in the dare section, but which already has more than six replies?

Please see the staff and rules list as you will see there is not a lot of active staff currently (unless it hasn't been updated)

Yeah if you're not sure whether to report or not then just report it easier that way.

I read this many times before. Still, I am wondering what thread you have to report and what not. Up until now, I've been reporting whenever I think something is not right.

I report whatever I think should be reported as well as the things I'm a little doubtful if it should be reported or not, no matter how many replies are on the thread.

I report anything that breaks rules, and stuff I'm doubtful about.

I don't care if the thread has 1 million replies or not. (That would be a popular thread.)

I report it if I fully know it's against the rules or if I believe it does. The one's I'm unsure about are ones that are in the right section, but don't really seem like breaking the rules. If I was you, just do what your doing even if you see others not reporting the thread. Do what feels right. Cause even if you report it and there's nothing wrong, nothing can really happen.

Believe it or not is is usually the same bunch of users that use the report feature (believe 12 users in last 48 hours) however these users have helped considerably.

If you see anything inappropriate / wrong area etc - just report it.

Do understand that it can sometimes take time for the reports to be sorted, we have a sufficient amount of mods but many are not always available, (we all have lifes and wish to enjoy the site as well)
