A comments section, as the current major one (eblue) doesn't have comments directly on images.

Also, log IPs internally with every submission so if illegal/nonconsenting content appears, it can be taken down, with the offending IPs being banned and forwarded to the authorities if necessary.

Too many sites go up then get taken down a month later 'cause someone thought it would be a good idea to "expose" their ex who doesn't consent to it.

You have a lot of reason. I have to do that, becouse a lot of pages like temporarily exposure take down for that.

The ability to submit a hidden photo or two that is only accessible to admin/mods, showing consent (or perceived consent) that the exposer has from the exposee. Too many exposees simply chicken out and press the report button after they have "self satisfied".

Also be mindful what server you host it on, and their history/reputation of cooperation with authorities and DCMA claims. This affects how sites are often taken down.

Otherwise look forward to a new platform.

I've seen many people post about online sites lately. They are all super focused on just one game. I would like to see a platform that multiple games can be built on top of. Here is my feature list

User profiles

Should include
-- Last time seen online
-- A feed of the games they played, who they played against and who won

-- The games they are interested in playing with a button so the current user can request to start

-- A list of the long term games they are currently in
-- A status icon showing active, away, offline or playing a game (for short games like battlestrips that need your full attention/where you would not want to start a second game)

-- You should be able to add someone to your friends list.

-- A pending/completed dare list

We may want to implement this as a "card" per game where the card has status such as last played, times won, currently playing.

Technology

The code must be in a public git repo so that other people can help you build new features (and take over if you abandon it)

There should be a monthly donation option to help pay for servers (and eventually the maintainers time).

It should work well on both desktop and mobile browsers. It may be good to design it as a Progressive Web App.

Each generated game and game session should have a unique URL that can be shared. If the game session is over it should show the results. If the game session is in progress it should let the user join the game.

Photo/video/secret text albums should generally be linked to a game session. Security should be set per item so that we can reveal one at a time. The security levels will be: no one, darer/winner only, players in game session, public session album (any logged in user can access via profile of one of the players), public game album, public site album

Communication system
-- You should get a toast message whenever a friend becomes online
-- You should get a toast notification whenever a friend joins the waiting room of a game with a link to join them

-- Private messages should appear in real time similar to Facebook messages
-- There will be two types of group chats. Manually created by adding friends and auto created for a game session that the user is currently in.

-- The person giving a dare should be notified when one they sent is marked completed

Game Builder

Just like GetDare anyone should be able to make a game and publish it to a public category or share it with friends only. The category list should be sortable by last played by user, last played by anyone, most played, rating. Games that request photos should be auto tagged with the highest possible risk of reveal. Manual tagging with supplies needed or location should also be possible.

Games will be built by configuring several modules. Each module will define an action that the user or system will take and a next step to go to. The same module may be added to the game multiple times with different configurations. Each of these I'm calling a step.

Users should create new games by clicking the copy button on an existing game or selecting to copy a template. Starting from blank will probably be confusing for most people.

One of the basic modules will be a dare task. It will have a rich text direction (possibly with photos) and a recipient. It may also indicate a number of photos that must be added before it can be marked completed. The minimum photo security and minimum display time will be specified. The recipient can increase them.

Person above template
The game will define a description with the rules. There will only be one session. When the session is created the activePlayer will be set to the game creator. Any other users that join the game can post a dare. The dare will be sent to the activePlayer and show up in their list of pending dares with a link back to the game session. The system will then set the activePlayer to the user that posted the dare. We will want a way to show the history of previous dares.

Cumulative Hot potato template

The game will define a description with the rules. There will only be one session at a time. A new session will be created after each boom. When coming to the screen the user will have a field to enter a dare and the option of clicking the add or boom then add buttons. The boom button will send a dare to the prior user's pending dare list including the user name of the boomer and all the people that contributed. A new session will then be created with the booming user's new dare. The loosing player can add photos to the session photo album and specify who they are visible to. We may include the.

Looser has to - automatic template
The game will provide guidance on what type of dares that should be made. Each dare will be its own game session. There can be multiple open dares at a time. The session creator will post the dare and wait for at least 1 other player to join the session. Once the required number of people have joined the session the system will automatically pick a winner and a looser and send the dare task to the looser.

Looser has to - Online game template
Same as the automatic looser has to except that instead of automatically picking a looser the players will be directed to the game such as online battleships or chess. Once completed the players will have to indicate who one if it is an external game.

Some of the modules that come to mind are

Waiting room - A holding place for people that are about to play a game together. Can be configured with min/max number of players for a session, max wait time and an option to enable a start now button once the min player count is reached. Sessions at the waiting room step that are looking for more players will be displayed in a public list.

Spin/roll for action - Determines what task or next step is sent to the current player or all players in session

Select player via spin - All players in the session will be displayed as options in the spinner. The result of the spin will be saved as the winner/looser.

Sort players by manual roll - Each player must click the roll die button before the step is completed

Sort players by score

Select player by poll

Select action by poll

Revel next photo - This will change the security of a photo to something more public. You will specify the

from level - first photo with this security level will be selected
to level - the new security level

number of photos - Option for all
who's photo - Looser, winner, person with most points, person with least points, one per player, random, etc

Hide photos - Basically the same as revel

Adjust photo delete time - Photos will be deleted at the end of the game session by default. Time can be increased/decreased/set using the same selectors as revealing

Adjust player score - Scores can be used to keep track of what round/level of difficulty a player is on for stepped looser has to type dares.

Request photo - Allows players to upload photos/videos

Min photos

Starting security level - The security may be set so that no one can see it until the player looses

Starting delete time
from players - Looser, winner, person with most points, person with least points, all players, random, etc

Enter a dare - Allows a user to send a text dare

Invite guests - Allows the winner to invite _ guests to watch the game. They can see all photos that are shared with the game session

Launch call - Text, voice and video chat should be features that users turn on in a group at any time. If it is triggered as part of a game the players won't be able to move to the next step without it.

Enable audio
Enable video
From players - Looser, winner, person with most points, person with least points, all players, random, etc
Minimum length - How long before the user can end the call

(WebRTC has enabled computer to computer communication with the server only doing coordination. That makes it cheap enough for us. I even found a free coordination server https://jitsi.org/user-faq/)

---

For something like sending dares via PM we can create a link on the profile of a user that when clicked launches a new session with two players selected. Players should be able to specify if the link shows up for no one, friends only or anyone.

There should be a free form game mode that can be launched from any non-game chat with the online members of the group. It should be basic things like rolling for each person or making a random selection.

----------------

I jumped around a lot as I was typing it so hopefully it makes sense. It must have if you made it this far. I've got lots more ideas but I think that is enough for you to get the picture.

If it's going to be something like the old temporarily exposed type sites I'd like to see a feature allowing multiple images to be uploaded into an album, but the images are only made visible after certain conditions are met (say a strip series where each image is revealed after an extension or something like that)
