Embarrassing holiday stories?

Okay so we're into summer and this is the time most people choose to go abroad

What I'm wondering is do you have any embarrassing or interesting stories to share from being away in the past?

Not embarrassing for me, but my Ex slapped me during Thanksgiving because she was jealous that I was giving time and attention to my little cousins to be who had never seen me and were meeting me for the first time. Plus it was also my family's Thanksgiving and not hers, which just added to it.

Wow, I can see why that didn't last. Did your family see her slap you?
