I keep hearing about people bumping each other. What is bumping?

Do you mean bumping a thread? Because bumping a thread is against the rules. Never heard of people bumping each other, though.

Bumping here is basically replying to an old thread (2-3 months old or more) with something like "hey, cool dare, I think I'm gonna try this some time..." or replying to an old thread in TorD... As far as replying to threads like in the Truth section or the s/m lounge for example we don't mind as long as the post is somehow contributive to the subject of that thread

1.an old thread(thats not in truth)if a thread is 2-3months old,or doesnt have hope anymore then its considered bumping
2.just somthing on a thread like: (title->)golden shower

3. as chloe said just hey this is a good dare gonna do it soon

thats the most that immeaditly come to my mind

i didnt have a clue wot bumping was before the summer,, is their any way of makin the rule clear for newbies ?

if there isnt a sticky thread about bumping already then how about we sticky this thread so newbies can find out what bumping is and will:
1.reduce bumping alot i hope
2.and most likly if #1 works then when we get the rep system back there will be less bad rep goin twards newbies for bumping

just a thought
